| Summary | 0001572: About zram_swap file. | ||||
| Description | There is a file in /data/unencrypted/zram_swap. It consumed 512MB of data partition. I asked to Synaptics about zram_swap file, for conclusion, the zram_swap file is not necessary. Please refer to the below Synaptics Jira. https://synacsm.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/173/CSMSKBSBLT-200 The reason why I create this ticket, even I modified the fstab, the /data/unencrypted/zram_swap was not deleted. I think the Android framework create the zram_swap file refer to the fstab. But, the Android framework does NOT delete the zram_swap file refer to the fstab. So, please implement the following procedure. during booting time, zram_loopback_path is exist in fstab, do nothing, the Android framework will create the zram_swap file. zram_loopback_path is NOT exist in fstab, if /data/unencrypted/zram_swap is exist, delete /data/unencrypted/zram_swap if /data/unencrypted/zram_swap is NOT exist, do nothing Of course, this is my suggestion, please prepare this solution. If Synaptics suggest any guide for deleting zram_swap file, let's check which solution is better. | ||||
